Gelli Baff is an innovative, unique, award winning product that has recently launched in the USA at the NY Toy Fair & is enjoying huge success currently in the UK & Australia. We are now look-ing for an experienced International Development Manager to further our current distribution worldwide. The In Thing has the worldwide distribution rights on Gelli Baff.

This new and exciting opportunity will focus on the international sales & marketing of the brand, predominantly into toy channels, but also to a lesser degree into educational channels. Reporting directly to the Managing Director the position carries a lot of responsibility and therefore requires commercial acumen and the ability to identify new business opportunities rather than relying upon existing contacts. This role will encompass sales, marketing and operations of brand Gelli Baff worldwide!

Parameters of the role are:-

  • Research and identify international sales opportunities for brand Gelli Baff into both the toy & educational sectors.
  • Organise the participation in international sales activity at key international sales events (may require some European and worldwide travel).
  • To provide organizational and control support to the MD to ensure the efficiency of the Interna-tional Sales function re Gelli Baff.
  • You will be responsible for:-

  • Research and maintain data on worldwide markets re who potential partners could be and solicit the same.
  • Identifying sales leads within specific channels in international markets.
  • Research international direct to retail opportunities and identify leads.
  • Coordination of relevant product material such as product information, marketing information, price lists and samples.
  • After sales service - liaising with logistics and marketing and ensuring samples are ready on time.
  • Preparation of sales quotes.
  • To be the pivotal point of contact between the company and our international partners re Gelli Baff.
  • Oversee account management once new partners are established.
  • Assist account manager with appointed international partners to ensure each market has a clear, set business/marketing plan.
  • This role could suit someone with international sales administration experience or brand/product management. Language skills would clearly be advantageous although not critical. You will enjoy ferreting out new leads and identifying gaps in the market where the brand could move into so it's important not to be blinkered by just what you know. As you will be communicating and presenting at senior level it's essential you possess excellent verbal and written skills.

    Details

    The position is ideally full-time, Mon-Fri 9.00am to 5.30pm.
    Preferably will be office based but may consider working from home for the right candidate.
    A competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission structure is available.
