Gelli Baff was successfully launched in the UK at the Toy Fair in 2007, and within its first year was awarded the prestigious gift of the year award by EMAP (the organisers of Autumn and Spring Fairs).
Since the launch the Gelli Baff idea has evolved within numerous different industries:
Currently in Tesco’s Spring/Summer range with this being Gelli Baff’s ninth consecutive season since our 2007 launch. Our counter top version – Gelli Play is also ranged in Tesco’s, sitting alongside the standard Gelli Baff (Tesco are the UK’s largest retailer)
It has also been continuously ranged by Toys R Us, Smyths Toys, The Entertainer, Play.com & Amazon from launch as well as thousands of independents throughout the UK. Awarded ‘Gift Of The Year’ in its 2007 launch year!
Gelli Baff has been re-branded as “Messy Play” for the educational industry. Messy Play is a fantastic ‘sensory play’ product for kids within schools/nurseries etc. Teachers love it because, no matter how much mess children make with Messy Play, it cleans up easily, it doesn’t stain carpets, kids or clothes, is completely safe as well as being biodegradable!
Our adult G Spa range has enjoyed continued success within literally thousands of beauty salons, chemists etc throughout the UK since mid 2008.

In 2012 Spin Master has now launched Squishy Baff in the US & Canadian markets. Backed by a huge TV & marketing campaign. Squishy Baff is currently sold as follows:
Gelli Baff attracted huge media attention eg ABC news who aired the uses of Gelli Baff on their primetime ‘Good Morning America’ show. It also attracted interest from numerous major US retailers whom will be ranging Gelli Baff in the coming months.
